Kristi Dean is the founder and CEO of KDEAN, a boutique recruiting and talent advisory firm. Whether you are helping a CEO or Hiring Manager develop a cohesive team or representing a candidate and advancing their career – it’s all about the human dimension. The people are the heart of any company and quite often they are the first impression of a company and are the ambassadors that bring a brand to life. KLDEAN offers in-depth talent optimization workshops to help you design, hire and inspire your Dream Team through their partnership with the Predictive Index.

Kristi shares “As a child and young adult, I learned from one of the best entrepreneurs I know, my Dad. I watched him build his construction and real estate development company on the core values that remain my compass each and every day – accountability, commitment, diligence, hard work, integrity and genuine care for the clients and communities we serve. Furthermore, I watched my Mom support my Dad as he grew his business, reinforcing those core values within our family unit. I am forever grateful to my parents for being beacons of light – both on my personal and business journeys.

Kristi holds a B.S. in Psychology from Mount St. Mary’s University.  She spent over 13 years in the banking industry and exited the industry as a Vice President. She left to pursue another passion, running her own business. She started (and still runs) a successful company, focused on animal care. In addition, she was recruited to be a recruiter in the DC area and jumped at the chance to help another entrepreneur and female-owned business. She fell in love with the hiring and recruitment process and ultimately started KLDEAN.

Kristi resides in Bethesda, MD and prides herself in being the baby of the family, the crazy aunt and her most favorite role, dog mom to Jasper Dean, her beloved 14-year old Chocolate Labrador Retriever. To keep things in perspective and balance in this crazy world (and sweat out the stress!), she can be found in her spare time working out at the local gym on her favorite stair climber, listening to her favorite Bob Dylan tunes.
